What is Music on a Mission?
This Ottawa music trivia night, Family Services Ottawa’s single, most-important fundraiser, is one of the most highly anticipated and off-the-charts fun events of the year! Best described as a kind of “Name that Tune” game, Music on a Mission challenges attendees to name artists, songs, movies, jingles, and television shows from every musical genre in a series of 10 exciting rounds. Play for fun, or play to win! The splendid festivities also include a light dinner, spectacular silent auction – with items and trips donated from around the world, magnificent bake sale, raffle, prizes, and much more!
How many guests are expected?
Over 450 and we sell-out very quickly every year!

What is the suggested attire?
The attire is casual and we encourage fun Halloween costumes! There will be prizes for best costumes – team and individual.
How can I buy tables? How much are they?

Once I’ve registered, how do I indicate my team player details?
Once you have registered, please download the Team Player Form PDF, and then complete and return as soon as possible (email: email@example.com or fax: 613-590-9952). Make sure you fill in your team name (which will be printed on your table sign; some suggestions: choose your favourite band, artist, classic album, or something completely original, like a music-themed play on words) and your official team captain’s information. For EACH of the team members, please provide all relevant information, especially any gluten-free or lactose-free restrictions (as we need to order the pizza in advance).
How can I become a corporate sponsor?
This fun event is ideal for corporate entertaining and team building. Celebrate a company milestone. Reward your staff for hard work. Show gratitude to your loyal customers and clients. Other ways you can support Music on a Mission include becoming a One-Hit Wonder ($250 financial donation, with a charitable tax receipt for the full amount and recognition in return) or making a fully tax-deductible donation in any amount; or, even if you are unable to attend personally, you can consider purchasing a table, for deserving members of the community who may otherwise not be able to attend. Family Services Ottawa (FSO), one of Ottawa’s oldest and most vital registered charities, has been helping people lead healthy, productive, fulfilling lives for over 105 years by providing a wide range of accessible counselling services, and educational and supportive programs for children, adults, and families in all their forms. We collaborate with community partners and champion advancements in public health that make people’s lives better, working to ensure that mental health services are available to all.
